Single Phase Single Pole Filter
It usually consists of an inductor and a capacitor, with a filtering level to filter out noise and interference signals within a specific frequency band. In some single phase EMI filters, two capacitors are used—one placed between line and neutral, and another between line/neutral and ground—to effectively reduce both differential and common mode noise. A common mode choke is often used in these filters to create high impedance and attenuate common mode currents, effectively filtering out interference from various power sources. It is widely used in single-phase powered electronic devices such as household appliances, industrial equipment and medical equipment.
